Baseball has always been about more than the box score.

A former Major League first baseman and a familiar voice to Pittsburgh fans, Kevin Young has spent a lifetime reading the game—and helping others see it differently.

Drafted by Pittsburgh in 1990, Kevin built an 11-season career with the club. His standout 1999 campaign placed him in rare company with 40 doubles, 20 home runs, 100 runs, 100 RBI, and 20 stolen bases.

Today, he brings that same preparation and honesty to broadcasting, mentoring, speaking engagements, and community work.
